What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
A transparent device that makes certain Pokemon species change. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosters
With an upgrader for your item, you can get numerous bonuses. They could include a variety of stats, in addition to a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be used on weapons, armor and trinkets. They can be used to improve the abilities of a character or give a new dimension of variety to their build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying a currency fee to an upgrader for their item. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was expanded with the introduction of Warlords of Draenor. It is a convenient way to increase the level of your gear, allowing you to avoid the tedious grind of questing and avoid a bunch of wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded, its base type changes. The upgrade of a normal item will create an Exceptional item and upgrading an item that is Exceptional will result in an elite version of the same base item. The item will be able to keep its previous upgrade stats, but will receive an additional bonus of its new base type. This bonus will be randomly chosen from the following options: a chance to obtain weapons with a greater damage range, a chance to obtain an increased reload speed or a chance to acquire a higher max defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain when upgrading depends on the amount of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will boost the extras by a maximum of 3 points. Each upgrade will also boost the stats of the main game by +1.
Some upgrades also give you an additional random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be important and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are only useful in specific builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others could provide an enormous amount of value to certain collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos, which is less useful when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap offers an additional potion slots. These are usually upgraded to add more value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses that are associated with upgrades to items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This cost depends on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it receives and can be costly. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of the items required to upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The quantity of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
Upgrades to an item are a complex process that takes time. It could take as long as 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of an upgrade. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl as well as other characteristics. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other vital statistics. In certain cases the upgrade can grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of advantages.
In rare cases the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing benefits. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, such as changing the type of weapon damage or removing or adding an unwieldy or operational property. The cost for these modifications is based on the new ilvl of the item, and may require a special substance, such as adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The upgrading of an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. However there are a few factors that can increase the odds of success. These include the use of an item called an Upgrade Pity or the addition of additional items to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity is available through the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. item upgrades increases the odds of an upgrade's success by a percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that some items provide however it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon, and can be used up to three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. However, there are some limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown right above the + button in the UI.
Another method to increase the odds of a successful upgrade is by using an item called a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful in the event that your item or weapon is close to or has reached the highest level of its tier. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful the upgrade will be reversed to its previous state. This is typically a downgrade, but can also be an upgrade. Save an upgrade until you reach the maximum level for an item.
Kafra has a number of products that can be used in order to increase the chances of an upgrade being successful. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading your equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for an item allows players to add an additional slot on their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. However, it is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rate of upgrade and enchantment is dependent on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.
The system is expensive particularly if you are looking for top-quality gear. It could cost as high as 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. As you progress in rank, your success rate decreases. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase your chances of upgrading an item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a basic upgrade that is only applied to weapons, armor and bikes. It uses different grades of core dependent on the type of item. In general, lower quality items require less expensive cores, whereas higher grade ones require more expensive cores.
To perform a normal upgrade it is necessary to first have the proper number of cores. Once you have them then click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade. The upgrade window will show an indicator of the percentage of your success chances. The percentage is based on the upgrade level of the item and the core kind you have selected.

You can also opt for an insurance policy that will safeguard your product in the event of failure. The safeguard is not free however it will cost less than a new item. The safeguard is only available once per upgrade, and is not a valid expiry date unless it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader is a little confusing, but not impossible to navigate. The main menu is visible on the left and the upgrade window is located on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the different stages during the upgrade process. If you're not sure what you're doing, use the question mark icon to get help. The upgrade can take up five minutes.
